San Francisco has always been a global city 🌁

A city shaped by immigration, refuge, and reinvention. A city where cultures coexist and collaborate. A city with the largest Chinatown outside of Asia. A city whose streetcars—some coming from Blackpool, Melbourne, Milan, and Zurich—are landmarks. A city that’s home to the 124-year-old San Francisco Soccer Football League, where clubs were built around communities: Greek, Irish, Italian, and Mexican, to name a few, with four of them winning the U.S. Open Cup.

“The Eyes of the World” Kits 👀🗺️
To tell this story, we combined five memorable kits from previous World Cups and one “what if” as a nod to MEYBA’s history with Johan Cruyff.

Goalkeeper: Full Color - or what we named "The Jorge Campos Kit"

Inspired by the icon Jorge Campos, this loud, bold, eccentric design is made for the 18-yard box.

This is that wit, taking tournament-defining patterns from different decades that probably shouldn’t go together but actually do. The full-color piece is a bit niche, a bit of a novelty, and a great addition for collectors. - Ian Blackley, SF City’s Volunteer Head of Marketing / Creative Director

Featuring 6(!) different international kit designs:

2018 Nigeria
2006 Brazil
1998 Croatia
1998 Mexico
1994 Germany
1986 Netherlands (what could've been)

Training Top: Monochrome - or "The Monochrome Fog Kit" 🌫️

For a more uniform look fit for the training grounds, a greyscale version was designed. One change from the other is a gold-and-white Sutro badge meant to resemble those donned by championship winners, a constant reminder to all the players what our goal is this season.
